PROVO – After taking home the conference crown, Brigham Young University’s 13th seeded Women’s Volleyball team is set to host the first round of the NCCA Tournament tonight.
The Cougars have been almost flawless on the this season. They’re 14-1 at home on the year, and they’re looking to keep the streak alive tonight.
The Smith Fieldhouse is an electric atmosphere, and attendance records rank among the top in the nation. Senior middle blocker Amy Boswell said she finds comfort in the madness, and she was pumped to clinch an automatic tourney berth with home court advantage.
“Winning the conference, we knew we would go, but I think that 13 seed is exciting and it is always fun to host. It’s really comfortable and it’s a nice ease-in, I feel like, for some of the younger girls on our team and some of those freshman,” Boswell said.
Princeton will take on the Cougars tonight at 7 P.M.
