BYU men’s basketball struggles on the road

PROVO, Utah – Brigham Young University men’s basketball continues to struggle on the road this season, only winning three of seven games in West Coast Conference play this season.

Head Coach Dave Rose said he thinks sickness, injuries and inexperience show up more on the road.

“You adjust, you put your first guy off the bench, you put him in the starting lineup, and then you got to kind of find the next group that’s going to come off and help you. It’s already a pretty young group, still trying to establish… the core of our team and you change the lineup again. We were pretty scattered I felt,” Coach Rose said.

Coach Rose said he hopes to get through a week where they can actually play a game with the same group of starters he practiced with.

However, after the road win against San Francisco, Coach Rose said the team was connected and had better performance off the bench.
