PROVO – High Fitness, a new exercise regimen focused on music and cardio, has been sweeping the nation.
Instructor Lorrie Taylor travels across Utah to different fitness centers, where she leads participants in easy choreography routines, as well as plyometrics, which include squats and tuck jumps.
The regimen, which was developed by a BYU graduate 2 years ago, can help participants burn up to 700 calories in an hour. Participants also say that the moves are easy to do, so you don’t need previous dance experience to attend.
The unique class launches a new song regimen every week, so there is always a new, exciting reason to go to class.
